First of all, I’d like to express my thanks to those that took the time to enter my contest. It means a lot to me that you shared your personal stories and experiences with me.
With respect to the contest itself, I’ve never held a contest in my life. EVER. Which made it all that more difficult in determining a winner. It was a difficult decision and you’d think that it’d be easy to decide on a winner with only 14 entries. You read that right, FOURTEEN entries! When I created this contest, I didn’t really know what kind of submissions I’d be expecting, but honestly some of them really made their way to my heart. I’d love to make everyone a winner, and the thought did cross my mind several times, but that’s something I sadly can’t provide at the moment. We’ll just have to compromise.

Sabrina Lising’s Mom and Kim Ivey!
Both are deserving winners in their own right. Sabrina’s mom lost her job a couple months ago and her grandmother passed away recently. While Kim had her first Mother’s Day where her children gave the cards and breakfast in bed to their new mom. I re-read their stories and there simply wasn’t one clear winner. It’s my contest and I can change the rules a bit :-) I hope my photos will make a difference in your lives.
